Our Story

We're the Mizelles—a family of ten on 40 acres in South Cleveland, Tennessee.

Why We Do Things Differently

We're not trying to preach or convince anyone of anything. We just wanted food we could trust, so we learned how to make it ourselves.

So we started small. A few chickens in the backyard. A vegetable garden that was more weeds than tomatoes at first. But those homegrown eggs tasted different. Those imperfect tomatoes tasted like summer. And we were hooked.

A Family Effort

With eight kids ranging from toddler to teenager, everyone has a role. The older ones help with milking and the heavier farm work. The little ones collect eggs and "help" with the garden (their weeding skills are questionable, but their enthusiasm is unmatched).

This isn't a business to us—it's our life. The kids are learning where food comes from, what hard work looks like, and why it matters to do things right even when no one's watching.

We're not perfect. The house is loud, the farm is messy, and we're still figuring it out. But we're doing it together.
